For our location in Germany, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior Internal Auditor (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany and Canada as soon as possible and contribute to the further optimization of our internal processes.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the global audit function within the Compliance department.
Your tasks will include conducting regular audits, both remotely and on-site.
You will train employees on compliance topics, identify potential risks and work closely with various departments to resolve audit-related compliance issues.
Documenting and maintaining all existing compliance policies and procedures is also part of your remit.
You will thoroughly analyze audit failures, propose appropriate corrective actions and implement solutions to resolve identified issues.
You will prepare annual audit reports and compliance reports in line with ESG requirements.
Together with the CCO, you will ensure smooth internal compliance reporting.
In addition, you will conduct functionally separate internal compliance investigations for regional compliance officers.

Ideally, you have a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), accounting, finance or a comparable specialization.
Accreditation as a CPA, CIA, CFE, CICA or equivalent qualification is desirable.
You will have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in the overall audit process, including conducting audits, managing compliance programs and interpreting legal and regulatory requirements.
Fluency in German and English is required, both written and spoken.
A willingness to learn, openness to new and better methods, a sense of responsibility and commitment are among your personal strengths.
You work equally well independently and cooperatively in cross-functional teams.
Your strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to prepare reports, conduct training and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
An understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is part of your skill set.
You are able to present analytical results accurately and support senior management in decision-making processes.
A willingness to travel internationally to conduct audits rounds off your profile.
